Over the past month we have been visiting the wonderful West Somerset baby and toddler groups to talk to parents about #markmaking and why its so brilliant for young children development.

So what is mark making?
Mark making is anything that makes a mark be it permanent like pen or paint on paper, or impermanent like marks in the sand.
There are no mistakes in mark-making, all 'scribbles', shapes and splodges are vital steps in your child's writing journey! Each achievement should always be celebrated

The magnet that Wren made is proudly being displayed on our fridge and I am busy making up 200 more of these packs full of creepy crawly goodies.

Buggy Beat is a exercise class for parents/carers and baby, all you need is your baby in a pram and a qualified instructor and your ready to go!
Spending a Buggy Beat class with your baby while you work out- helps solidify your bond. Hold your baby whilst squatting, lay them on the mat during push ups— the baby is getting the good energy of you doing something positive for yourself while you focus on them at the same time.
